During an emotional week, this feels like a timely message of hope. The world has seen the worst of America come to the surface over the last four years. It was always there though, hiding in the shadows. I still struggle with any rational understanding of how more than 60 million Americans voted for a fascist, but here we are. Luckily, there’s still a chance for the country to be what it should have been but never was.
