Since the book “How to paint Signs and Sho’ Cards” was written and published four years ago great strides have been taken in improving sign painting methods, especially gilding on glass and silk stencil process work. Those alone would be sufficient excuse for a new book. Sign painting is an art, but anyone who can read and write may learn to paint passably good signs within a reasonable length of time by following the directions given herein.
